Written during a residency at Fundación Marso, Venom was instigated by an invitation by fellow artist in residency Sarah Shoenfeld to write a text in relation to her work. What had started out as an exhibition text for Shoenfeld evolved into an autonomous work of poetic prose. Grounded in movement and ambiguity, Venom postures itself declaratively as a manifesto for the unknown and the psychic transformations that are evoked by it.
